The only logical rental replacement is.... A Turbo 4 Camaro!!! Fun car so far. Can’t fit a thing in it but I didn’t plan on being productive this week anyway. The promaster blew the water pump again.

I wonder how these sound. I have only driven the rental spec 6 cylinder ones, and they sound very good for a six. Surprisingly so honestly, especially when you compare it to the pathetic sounding V6 Mustang.

I got the word yesterday that the Promaster bus we were evaluating is now out of contention for fleet replacement. One was bad enough - I can’t imagine how we would continue to operate if we had 40-50 of those things. The final straw was the radiator blowing out. If it did that in a relatively cool late fall/early winter period I can imagine how many cooling system parts it would have puked up during a typical excruciatingly hot summer...

My friend had one and for whatever reason it made me carsick as soon as I sat in it. Like... before we started moving. Something about the belt line, I think.

Pretty sad when in neutral but decent intake noise when under load. All in a all it could be confused for a 4 from a camry..

Weirdly enough the 4 cyl and V6 trims got swapped with the latest generation pony cars. The 4 cyl Mustang is meant to compete with the 6 cyl Camaro. The V6 Mustang and 4 pot Camaro are the base engines now, respectively.

Ford is all in on turbos at this point. I think the 5.0 and 5.2 Voodoo motor are the only decent NA motors they make.

Really no sound at all. Some turbo and intake noise but I don’t think there is a peep coming from the tail pipe.

I’ve had about 10 co workers with them they’ve all had issues but mine is definitely the worst. On the other hand they are great to work out of. I really do love working from it but if I paid the bills to keep it running I would have kicked it to the curb looooooong ago. Mine is set up with a partition between the driver and the storage so that keeps the noise down, it has a massive inverter to run tools and full kit of adrian steel storage stuff so that helps. Mine will just be deliveries, don’t need tools or anything but good to know, I’ll be sure to post any issues I have lol.
